The development function works with environmental permitting, coordination of consultants, and execution of environmental studies, inventories, and investigations that are required in a permitting process. These studies address the cultural environment, natural values, and bird inventories. In parallel, a technical investigation of the planned project is conducted, taking wind measurement, layout, number of turbines, electrical grid connection, and road access into account. When the project is permitted it is handed over to our Construction function. Within the development function, we have employees with backgrounds in technical engineering, environmental science, and law.
